Allergies, Cures exist but are withheld
YEAST DESENSITIZATION: - "When you take antibiotics, especially
if you take them repeatedly, many of the friendly germs in your
body (especially those in your digestive tract) are 'wiped out.'
Since yeasts aren't harmed by these antibiotics, they spread out
and raise large families (the medical term is 'colonization').
When yeasts multiply, they put out toxins which circulate
through; your body, weaken your defenders and make you sick.
YEAST OVERGROWTH WEAKENS YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM. Yet, it is ...

Allergy Equals Addiction
Craving particular foods can be a sign of a need for a nutrient
that is in the food that is craved. The body is demanding food
that contains a particular nutrient. This can be very
straight-forward. For example, I spent three months in Sri
Lanka, and my diet was very short of zinc. The moment I walked
back into my house I reached for the jar of sunflower seeds (an
excellent source of zinc) and started stuffing them down myself.
Over the next few days I ate a huge amount of sunflower ...

The Immune System
The immune system: Don't leave home without it. Imagine your
reaction when you open a fortune cookie and it reads, "Psychics
will lead dogs to your body." Sort of unnerving, huh? It is, if
you don't first roll over in gut-busting laughter. But, I'm
told, that really did happen... I don't know the reaction of the
person involved, but it could have been a bit uncomfortable.
After all, why do we open the "fortune cookie" to begin with?
Anyway, people can be disturbed by things like ...

Cleaning for Allergy and Asthma Sufferers
Ready for another round of allergies?
My daughter recently had a bout with asthma. The strange thing
is, she hadn't had any problems for a couple of years. In
looking at the possible triggers - She had a new batch of
puppies at her dad's. While the 2 dogs didn't seem to bother
her, the addional puppies seemed to put her over the edge.
To make matters worse, since we hadn't had problems for a couple
of years, I had become lax in some of the cleaning that I would
have done when she had problems ...

ADHD and Food Allergies
ADHD and Food Allergies
by Anthony Kane, MD
Introduction
There are a number of controversial areas in medicine when it
comes to ADHD. Food allergy is certainly one of them.
The classic allergic reaction, which is classified as the type-1
hypersensitivity reaction, can be elicited by food, but this is
fairly uncommon. When we discuss food sensitivities in ADHD we
are discussing a different, not well-defined, mechanism.
One of the main progenitors of the food allergy/ADHD connection
is Dr. ...

The Maharishi Ayurveda Approach to Allergies
In a healthy body, the allergic response serves to protect
against invasion by harmful agents. Secretions and inflammation
help our immune cells get into the affected tissue, dilute the
toxic agent and help wash it away. "Allergies" become a health
problem when an excessive and unwanted allergic response occurs
to particles that are part of our normal environment and are not
actually dangerous to the body.
Some individuals are born with allergies, ...
