it takes is a serious commitment and a $15 step-counting

Is Ephedra a Miracle Cure?
Americans are buzzing about the FDA's recent decision to reverse
the ban on ephedra and ephedrine supplements in the United
States. Known as the 'world's oldest medicine,' ephedra has been

think of two things: 'weight loss' and ...

Disposable Contact Lenses - Do the Benefits Outweigh the Cost
/p>
If you hate fussing over your contacts every morning there are
two solutions - extended 30-day wear contact lenses and daily
disposable lenses. But which is best?
Using lenses that you can wear for 30 days straight is very
convenient. Unfortunately it is not safe. Accumulated dust
particles and a month's worth of protein deposits on the lenses
put you at risk of infection, even if you wear highest quality
extended wear lenses. Daily disposable contacts, on the other
hand, are not only ...

Pizza Doesn't Cause Acne, Does It?
Dairy consumption has been positively linked to acne for many
teenagers and adults. There have been numerous studies proving
this association, including a portion of the landmark Nurses
Health Study involving 47,355 women in 1998. Unfortunately, the
reasons behind this milk-acne connection are much less concrete.
Regardless, the facts are that thousands of people have given up
dairy foods only to have their acne magically disappear. The
results these people have seen speak for themselves and ...

Bird Flu Fears
Remember the good old days when a cold consisted of a runny
nose, stuffed up sinuses, and a few aches & pains?
Or how about the flu? I remember as a kid, the worst horror
story I ever heard of was someone having a week of diarrhea &
vomiting. That was scary stuff, and not even so much in the fact
that you would feel downright rotten, but the embarassment of it
all.

Prescription Eyeglasses Or Contact Lenses Which is Better ?
Many means have been used over time to correct vision. The
monocle and eyeglass on a stick came before prescription
eyeglasses that had first had limited styles. As technology
improved, lenses for glasses were getting smaller.
A lot of people were looking for eyeglasses to wear that they
didn't have to worry about being lost or getting broken. Contact
lenses were great but expensive when they came along. You would
have to get new lenses if you lost them or dropped them.
Someone I knew lost a ...

Helping to prevent hives
Question : MY 13-month-old daughter has been getting hives for
the past six months. It can appear and disappear within the day.
I really have no idea what triggers it. I have sought advice
from a paediatrician but he advised me to wait for another two
months or so. He doesn't like to prescribe drugs to babies
unless absolutely necessary. I don't like the idea of giving
drugs to a small child because they may only suppress the
symptoms but not treat the root of the problem. I would like to

Why Are We Snoring?
Technically, snoring is defined as any resonant noise from the
respiratory tract that emerges during sleep.
Biologically, snoring refers to a vibration in the airway
connecting the nose and the mouth; a vibration that can emerge
through the mouth, the nose, or (as some non-snorers are
painfully aware), it can emerge through both!
As you can sense, the more narrow the airway, generally
speaking, the more intense the vibration; and ultimately, the
louder the snore.
You may also be wondering ...

say that between 15-25% of infants are born with Colic. Although
it is not believed to effect a baby's development it is still a
